Best "gadget" I've purchased. I use it mainly for internet and email (must be WiFi connected). Great apps such as weather, sports, info and especially if you're a gamer. Very easy to navigate and not at all difficult to use. Videos such as You Tube, movies, etc. are amazing quality and clarity. Unbelievable graphics. Only drawbacks, and by no means a reason not to own this, built in speaker is not very loud, even at highest setting (but great sound quality when connected to headphones or speakers). Also, does not support Flash Player. Overall 5 star.

I really like what you wrote in this article. I find VoIP telephony technology very interesting. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

I cant wait to go watch the new alice in wonderland movie 2010 when it comes out. I first heard about it being remade about a year ago and I was so excited and once I saw who the actors and actresses were going to be I was very happy. You may have connected 1 from the component outputs (usually colored red, green, and blue) of the DVD player to the composite input of the TV. Connect yellow to yellow. See section 3.2 for hookup details. Also, if you've hooked up component video, check the three cables to make certain 1 of them hasn't become disconnected or developed a short and that they are connected within the correct order. Should you use an s-video connection, the chroma wire maybe broken -- try a different cable or try the composite connection. Should you live inside a PAL country (most countries outside of the U.S., Canada, and Japan) you may be playing an NTSC disc in a PAL player, but your PAL TV can't handle the signal. If your player has a switch or on-screen setting to select the output format for NTSC discs, choosing PAL (60 Hz) ought to solve the issue.

A progressive player also has to deal with problems such as movie that doesn't have clean cadence (as when it is edited after being converted to interlaced movie, when bad fields are removed during encoding, when the video is speed-shifted to match the audio track, and so on). An additional issue is that many DVDs are encoded with incorrect MPEG-2 flags, so the reinterleaver has to recognize and deal with pathological cases. In some instances it is practically impossible to determine if a sequence is 30-frame interlaced movie or 30-frame progressive video. For example, the documentary on Apollo 13 is interlaced video encoded as if it were progressive. Other examples of improper encoding are Titanic, Austin Powers, Fargo, More Tales from the City, the Galaxy Quest theatrical trailer, and the Large Lebowski making-of featurette.

One issue is that numerous TVs with progressive input don't allow the factor ratio to be changed -- they assume all progressive-scan input is anamorphic. When a non-anamorphic (4:three) picture is sent to these TVs they distort it by stretching it out! Before you purchase a DTV, make certain that it allows factor ratio adjustment on progressive input. Or get a player with an aspect ratio control option that "windowboxes" 4:three video into a 16:9 rectangle by squeezing it horizontally and adding black bars on the side. Because of the added scaling step this degrades picture quality, but at least it gets around the problem.

Every year we get the worst storms that are so strong that our trees crash down on top of things. When this does happen I usually search for a website of a tree service company in my area to come and do the job.I remember one year when there were two trees that fell on the same car in my driveway.
